The CHAI B-640-1920 is a next-generation, science-grade hyperspectral imager which covers the full spectral range with dual VIS-SWIR and MW-LWIR spectrometers. The The VIS-SWIR bands are covered by monolithic FBX CMOS and SWIR HgCdTe FPA (1920 pixels) covering from 380-2500 nm. The MWIR and LWIR incorporate 640×512/25 micron pitch InSb and HgCdTe FPAs. The system is fully boresighted for the VIS-SWIR-MWIR-LWIR spectral range.
Applications
- Earth Science
- Aerial Survey
- Airborne natural resource exploration
- Utility corridor mapping (under a helicopter)
Advantages
- Common field-of-view for VIS-SWIR with a single all-reflective telescope.
- Cooled optics and large pixel FPAs for MWIR and LWIR for high sensitivity.
- Rugged, environmental stabilized flight enclosures
- Integrated Radiometric Stability Monitor
(VIS-SWIR) and blackbody calibrators (MW-LWIR) - Options: Integrated with stabilization platform or tripod.
